arrived in cameroon for some days now, settled in for orientation week. busy on a scavenger hunt type thing in bafoussam. but all is well, though busy. i'll give more info once i can settle down and take the time. peace for now.

the day of reckoning is almost upon me! i'm madd excited/scared. i know it will be an awesome time, but it's still an ominous change in lifestyle in my very near future. i'll probably be changing, myself, too. hopefully not too much will change here at home. 9 years of french comes to this experience, a year's time of planning. oh boy...
i'll let ya know once i'm settled in country. the next few days should be reeeaaaal interesting.

Quite fortunately, this blog allows me to update via email, which I hope will work continuously during my trip (this is the first test). Given terrible internet access in Cameroon, hopefully this will keep me from wasting time allowing all that blog webpage crap to load up. I won't be able to customize and all, and definitely won't get much picture opportunity. Ah well.
Departure in 6 days. I've been keeping myself awake all night imagining my approaching experience. Most of my preparations are taken care of for now, so I'm just sticking to tv and laziness, the American way.
Maybe another posting before I go, but if not, then you'll here from me once I'm abroad.
